Kenneth Gutsch graduated Phi Beta Kappa with a B.A. in Russian from Knox College. He attended Leningrad State University in the Soviet Union and the University of Besancon in France during his undergraduate studies. He worked in the Peace Corps in Senegal for two years, and has a working knowledge of French, Russian and Spanish.
Mr. Gutsch graduated from the University of Illinois School of Law in 1988 as a member of the Law Review; International Moot Court team, and Editor of the Recent Decisions section of the Illinois Bar Journal.
Mr. Gutsch was admitted to the Alaska Bar in 1988. He is a member of the American and Alaska Bar Associations, as well as the Defense Counsel of Alaska. He is also a current Director, and past-president of Alaska Special Olympics. He has been a member of Rotary International since 2008.
Mr. Gutsch practices in the areas of personal injury/premises liability, product liability, professional malpractice and insurance coverage litigation before the Alaska State and Federal Courts. He has drafted an Amicus Curiae brief on behalf of the Defense Counsel of Alaska on tort issues before the Alaska Supreme Court.
