Marc G. Wilhelm joined the firm in 1989 and became a partner in 1996. Mr. Wilhelm received his undergraduate degree from Stanford University in 1975 and his law degree with high honors from the University of Washington School of Law in 1982. While at the University of Washington, he received the Order of the Coif and served as Managing Editor of the Washington Law Review.
Mr. Wilhelm has practiced law since 1982, including serving as a law clerk to U.S. District Court Judge James A. von der Heydt 1983-1985. His current practice includes all areas of litigation, insurance coverage, and appellate work, with an emphasis on aviation, products liability, professional liability and personal injury defense.
Mr. Wilhelm was admitted to the Alaska Bar in 1984. He is a member of the Alaska Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Defense Research Institute, and Defense Counsel of Alaska. He is a former president of Defense Counsel of Alaska.
